Die IBO GmbH ist ein in den letzten Jahren stark wachsender Schädlingsbekämpfer aus Göttingen.
Im Rahmen der strategischen Weiterentwicklung führten der geschäftsführende Gesellschafter Sven Buth, der Unternehmensberater Franz Köllmann zusammen mit dem go-inno zertifizierten Beratungsunternehmen GBH Consulting eine Potentialanalyse durch.
Als wesentlicher Wachstumshinderungsgrund wurde eine eine fast 20 Jahre alte „Warenwirtschaft“ auf der Basis einer Access Datenbank identifiziert. Kunden und Aufträge können in diesem System von einzelnen Mitarbeitern erfasst werden und die Rechnungsschreibung ist sichergestellt, alle anderen Prozess laufen allerdings „analog“ per Zettelwirtschaft ab. Somit wurden die größten Innovations- und Entwicklungspotenziale für IBO im Bereich der Digitalisierung der Prozesse gesehen, um für die Zukunft der Firma gewappnet zu sein. Angefangen bei den Disponenten bis zu den Mitarbeitern vor Ort sollten alle relevanten Daten über ein durchgängiges digitales System verwaltet werden. Innerhalb der Analyse wurde ebenfalls deutlich, dass für diese Umsetzung erhebliche Investitionen erforderlich sind. Daher wurde geprüft, ob und wenn ja welche Fördermittel genutzt werden können, um dieses ambitionierte Digitalisierungsprojekt umzusetzen.
Mit dem BMWI Förderprogramm „digital jetzt“ wurde ein Programm identifiziert, dass wesentliche Anteile der zu erwartenden Investitionen mittragen könnte. Auf Basis des Beratungsergebnisses wurde ein Förderantrag eingereicht, der im Februar positiv entschieden wurde, so dass dem Kunden eine Förderung in Höhe von 50T € (< 50 % der Investitionen) für die Umsetzung seines Digitalprojektes zugesagt wurden.
